Indian Cooking the next step Week 4 ( 18/03/2014)

It was great to see all, had a great cooking session,  There  were two dishes, we produced a Lamb chop curry  and Prawn special. Every one did so well and also managed to finish on time. I also managed to make Methi Paranthas and had a tasting session ..

The next step indian cooking course starts on the 25th February

I am very pleased to know that most of the people who attended the beginners course has enrolled on the next step course, really looking forward to it.

AIMS: To provide learners with hands on experience of learning to cook Indian food using fresh produce, herbs and spices.  Also to be able to recognize shortcuts, techniques and tips demonstrated by the Tutor and learnt during the practical sessions.

OBJECTIVES: The objective is for the learners to be able to know various spices, to be able to list the main spices used in making the sauce for different curry dishes and be able to prepare a full Indian meal from starter to main meal to bread and rice using simple to use techniques and fresh ingredients in the 5 weeks period
