Great result keep it up!

Looking forward to next weeks meat dishes: Chicken Korma and lamb Pataki.

Indian Cookery the first step starting on the 14th April 2015

  • To make onion bajis using different vegetables instead of potatoes, spinach and onions, these can be replaced with carrots and broccoli to differentiate the bajis for different taste and to adapt their own cooking style
  • Learners will be able to adapt the recipes using their own knowledge and skills, for example in week 2 we cook Kidney beans, and the learner can use an alternative to kidney beans and use chickpeas to produce the dish in their own style and taste.
  • Learners will learn how to use the cooking equipment safely using hot oil.
  • Learners will be able to identify after watching the demonstrations the short cuts to preparing the batter mix
